What we collect
When you place an order: name, email address, delivery and billing address, telephone number, order details. Your bank details never reach us: they are processed directly by our payment provider.
When you sign up for the newsletter: your email address.
When you write to us: the content of your message and the contact details you provide in it.
When you browse: technical data transmitted by your browser (IP address, device type, pages viewed), via cookies.
Why we use it
- To process and ship your order, and keep you informed about it — legal basis: performance of the contract
- To respond to your customer service requests — legal basis: performance of the contract or our legitimate interest
- To send you our news and offers, if you have consented — legal basis: your consent
- To comply with our accounting and tax obligations — legal basis: a legal obligation
- To improve the website and prevent fraud — legal basis: our legitimate interest
We do not sell your data, and we do not rent it to anyone.
Who has access to it
Only the service providers needed to run the shop, each for the part that concerns them: our e-commerce hosting provider (Shopify), our payment providers, our carriers, and our email sending tool. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, under a contractual framework providing appropriate safeguards.
How long
- Order data: kept for the legal period applicable to accounting records
- Customer account: for as long as the account exists, then deleted on request
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe
- Exchanges with customer service: for the time needed to handle them, then archived
- Cookies: according to each cookie's own lifetime, not exceeding 13 months
Cookies
The website uses cookies that are essential to its operation — basket, session, security — which cannot be disabled, and audience measurement cookies intended to understand how the website is used. You can configure your browser at any time to refuse or delete them; some features of the website may then no longer work properly.
Your rights
You may at any time request to access your data, have it rectified or erased, restrict or object to its processing, obtain a portable copy of it, and withdraw your consent where processing is based on it.
One single address: contact@homlysbeauty.com. We reply within one month. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may refer the matter to the data protection authority of your country of residence — the CNIL in France.
Unsubscribing from the newsletter
Every email contains an unsubscribe link at the bottom of the message. You can also write to us at contact@homlysbeauty.com: removal is immediate and requires no justification.
Security
Exchanges with the website are encrypted (HTTPS). Payments are processed by certified providers: no bank card data is stored by the shop.
Minors
The website is not intended for persons under 16 years of age and we do not knowingly collect their data.

This policy may be updated. The date at the top of the page indicates the latest version in force.
