Does it really work?
Yes, as long as you understand what it promises. An adaptive foundation doesn't "guess" your color: it relies on a physical mechanism. The pigments in Elegance II are enclosed in micro-pearls. As long as they stay intact, the cream is white. When you spread it, the pressure of your finger or sponge bursts these micro-pearls, which release the pigment your skin calls for. The shade then blends with your skin tone instead of simply sitting on top of it.

How the white cream changes color
When you first open it, being surprised is normal: the cream is white. That's intentional. Placed on the back of your hand, then patted onto your face, it takes on its color within moments. If a faint white veil remains, the product simply hasn't been worked in enough yet: keep dabbing until it disappears.
Then let it set for one minute. That's how long the shade needs to finish adjusting, before you judge the result or add a second layer.
Who it's for, and who it isn't for
Let's be clear, because this is the question that matters most.
Elegance II is suited to very fair to lightly tanned skin tones. It's a very good option if you're always torn between two shades, if your skin changes between winter and summer, or if you're tired of demarcation lines along the jaw.
Elegance II is not suited to dark or black skin. Beyond its range, it no longer evens out the complexion: it lightens it. If your skin tone is dark, this product is not made for you, and we'd rather tell you before you buy.

Coverage: sheer or full, you decide
The coverage is buildable. One hazelnut-sized drop gives a sheer veil that evens out and brightens the complexion. Two give full coverage. The most effective approach is to work in thin layers: a first one over the whole face, then a second only where it's useful, on redness or a dark spot for example.
Finish and wear: the right steps
The finish is satin and natural: it doesn't settle into fine lines or emphasize dry areas. The result depends mostly on how you apply it:
- Shake the bottle.
- Place a hazelnut-sized drop on the back of your hand.
- With a slightly damp sponge, dab from the center of your face outwards.
- Wait one minute.
- Add a second layer only where needed.

What about mature skin?
